Lauren & Brad

Lauren and Brad’s intimate September wedding at The Homestead 1854 was a celebration of love, characterized by a fun and carefree atmosphere. Their laid-back approach allowed everyone to feel at ease, creating an unforgettable experience.
The wedding was a blend of earthy and elegant tones including burnt orange, tan, white, gold, eucalyptus, terracotta, and sage greens. Paired with the stunning greenery of the yard, the color palette created a romantic and modern scene.
The couple exchanged their vows in a relaxed ceremony on the stone labyrinth. They had a personalized unity ceremony that symbolized the blending of their family. Each member had their own name on a puzzle piece that joined around their last name to represent a new, unified family.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour curated especially for them in the front yard that included signature drinks featuring the bride and groom’s favorites like a Blueberry Mojito, Spicy Margarita, and an Espresso Martini and yard games like bags and ladder toss. This fun and easygoing atmosphere set the tone for the rest of the reception.
Dinner took place in the Timber Tent where the couple’s vision came to life. The stunning fall colors were prevalent on each table matching the bride’s own arrangements of wooden flowers and pampas grass. Floating candles, candelabras, and lanterns provided a romantic glow as dusk set in. Desserts included an amazing spread of individually sized cheesecakes, brownies, and brookies. Guests also enjoyed time around the fire pit with a S’mores station.
The celebration continued as Lauren and Brad shared their first dance during golden hour. As the sun set, guests joined the dance floor where DJ Cass kept the party going all night.
Lauren and Brad’s wedding day was a heartfelt celebration of friends and family. With thoughtful attention to details and a casual atmosphere, their wedding was a unique and joyous occasion that reflected their love story.
