Ashely & Esteban

Guests from across the U.S. and Mexico gathered to share in the joy of Ashley and Esteban's special day at The Homestead 1854. It was a wedding filled with cultural traditions, heartfelt moments, and a regal atmosphere that set the stage for a day filled with love and unity.

Lavenders and radiant orchid purple adorned various details, from Ashley's bouquet to the ceremony backdrop and the tablescapes, creating an atmosphere that reflected love and unity. Ashley's bouquet also featured a 'something blue,' a special blue gem butterfly and cherished family item that added a touch of enchantment to her day.

The couple exchanged vows in The Homestead 1854's chapel, officiated by Mirna Lopez-Rivera. Their ceremony beautifully blended cultures and languages, symbolizing the union of two hearts. As a tribute to their heritage, they incorporated the Lazo de Boda unity ceremony as a visual symbol of their vows, symbolizing their infinite love, faith, and new beginning in marriage.

The picturesque labyrinth and surrounding grounds at The Homestead 1854 provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of their love in photographs and group pictures, while the historic home, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, served as an elegant backdrop for some of their cherished moments.

During the cocktail hour and dinner, guests were treated to the lively melodies of a Mariachi band, adding an authentic Mexican touch to the celebration. Laughter, music, and joy filled the air as everyone celebrated Ashley and Esteban's love story.

As the evening continued, and after dinner, the couple and their guests embraced the spirited "La Vibora de La Mar," a cherished Mexican wedding tradition.

The celebration took an entertaining turn with a karaoke session that had everyone joining in the fun, creating unforgettable memories.

Kathleen Miller Photography, a Homestead 1854's preferred photographer professionals, was there to document the smiles and tender moments, preserving the memories of Ashley and Esteban's special day.
