Dating back over 4000 years labyrinths have a long association with spirituality, ritual and sacred dance. The pressures and demands of modern society and our need for deeper meaning in our lives have led to a resurgence in interest in this ancient form. The Homestead 1854’s pavement 5- circuit labyrinth, with a surrounding hedge maze, is designed by England’s, Jeff Seward of Labyrinthos and constructed by Marty Kermeen of Labyrinths in Stone.
The Grounds- The beauty of natural wooded and green surroundings make for the perfect
backdrop for strolling receptions.
The Front Lawn – An area lush with greenery is perfect for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres or to
simply and quietly relax and reminisce.
The Fire Pit - Warm up and enjoy making s’mores while star gazing and relaxing with a crackling
Gazebo – Located on the southeast side of the property, the metal gazebo is an outdoor
statement that lends itself well for “I do’s” and first-kisses!
